Nunakuma Shrine
Nunakuma Shrine is comprised of the Watasu Shrine dedicated to "Ohwatatsumi-no-mikoto," god of the sea, and the Gion Shrine dedicated to "Susano-ono-mikoto." These ancient shrines are even listed in the Engi-shiki Regulations issued in 927 during the Heian period.
