Fukuyama Castle Museum

Fukuyama Castle was constructed in 1619(the 5th year of the Genna era) by Katsunari Mizuno, Lord of the Bingo District. Both the watchtower and Sujigane-gomon are designated as important cultural properties of Japan.
Inside the donjon,articles and data left by successive feudal lords, together with archaeological and historical articles, are stored and displayed.

Fukuyama Museum of Literature

This facility honors and traces the steps of local literary persons, especially the prestigious author, Masuji Ibuse Who was a citizen of Fukuyama. Exhibits include various materials,images,achievements,career outlines, and major works of the different authors.

Fukuyama Museum of Art

This is a new "park-type" museum linked with Fukuyama Castle Park. A large collection of 20th century European art and works of local artists are displayed.

Fukuyama Museum of Calligraphy

A large variety of collections are on exhibit, mainly paintings and calligraphic works from the Ming and Shin Dynasties of China.
Works/paintings and the stationary donated form Rosui Kurihara who is a calligrapher from Fukuyama. as well as works by Sasafune,Kitsunann Tanibe and Chikukei Miyamoto are displayed.

Midori-machi Park
