Goddess of Mercy of Abouto(Bandaiji temple Kannondo)
The vermilion-lacquered temple with the statue of the Goddess of Mercy, built
at the tip of the Abuto promontory located at the southern tip of the Numakuma
Peninsula, is designated as an important cultural asset of Japan. The temple has
been a place of worship since old times, where people prayed for the safety of
those at sea. Recently it has become widely known as a place of worship and prayer

Numakuma Bunkakan (Edahirotei Residence)
Numakuma Bunkakan is a sophisticated sukiya style of building
steeped in history and with a cultured atmosphere. It can
be used not only for tea ceremony and flower arrangement,
but also for several meetings, in the splendor of the nature
of each season.

Ohjo / Kiriishiyama Park
From the top of Kiriishiyama (Mt. Kiriishi) located on Yokoshima. This park offers
a unique view of the Seto Inland Sea interspersed with its islands. The park sits
at an altitude of 228 meters. Excellent for short hikes. |
