Outline of the Museum
Fukuyama Museum of art was established in November,1988,in order to contribute to developing art and culture in Fukuyama area, and to provide open-door system for the citizens to take part in. The museum try to realize the ideal on a definite line,
1. to take firm root in this district.
2. to search after a new world.
3. to contemplate to the present day and anticipate the trend of the 21st century.
4. to touch with art humanity.
The museum also has a variety of activities, holding temporary exhibitions, such educational programs as lectures and seminars, conducting researches, and, so forth.
